Every phone adds a delay between touch and sound that the app cannot see from software alone. Open the latency lab (long-press the session name) and run the tap-along calibration: tap with the click for a few bars and Terabeat measures the real delay, then corrects every recording after that. Calibration is stored per device and per output (speaker, wired, Bluetooth), so run it again when you switch headphones.

Bluetooth audio adds 100 to 250 ms of delay that no app can remove. Calibration compensates recordings on any output, but playing live over Bluetooth will feel loose. Use the speaker or wired headphones when performing.

WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, AAC/M4A and the other formats your phone can decode. Files are copied into the app, so the original stays where it was.

Turn Link on and Terabeat will find other Link apps and devices on the same Wi-Fi network and share tempo and beat position with them. No internet connection is used. On iOS the first time you enable it, the system asks for Local Network permission; this is needed to discover peers.

In the app's private storage on your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Use Share to export a loop as audio or a clip to any app you like. Uninstalling the app deletes everything, so export what you want to keep first.
